ACCOUNTING


REGIONAL SALES MANAGER - CANADA

Responsibilities:

SUMMARY: The individual in this position will be responsible for managing and coordination of Canadian sales for Arctic Cat snowmobiles, Arctic Cat ATVs, Side by Sides and related product for all of Canada. Responsibilities also include hiring and managing the District Sales Managers. Will also assist in the following areas: set wholesale and retail sales goals by product line for all District Sales managers, set up and dealer placement programs, monitor market share by DMA and FSA, and work to continuously increase our sales and market share for both product lines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Establish sales goals for District Sales Managers along with the North American Sales Director. These goals include snowmobile, ATV and dealer recruitment (dealer #’s) as well as parts, garments and accessories. Must follow through to see they are met.
2. Oversee all activities within the region to include: 1) Work with the District Sales Managers to attain annual sales goals within allocated budgets. 2) Will coach and mentor the District Sales Managers within region to ensure they are representing Arctic Cat in a professional manner, presenting all programs in a timely manner, planning their travel and meeting/exceeding their goals.
3. Attend 4 - 6 snowmobile festivals, races, club meetings and conventions across Canada per year.
4. Work with Call Center to assist in shipping finished goods, coordinate as needed with Canadian Dealers, Arctic Cat accounting, and financial institutions, making sure products are shipped to dealers early.
5. Update dealer maps, dealer lists and dealer files.
6. Develop and recommend new programs as required.
7. Closely monitor inventory and sales trends in field at all times. Monitor levels monthly.
8. Spot-check programs for possible problems in execution, dealer participation (fraud, can’t be understood, compliance with dealer contract terms, etc.)
9. Keeping tabs on sales trends of other products typically carried by Arctic Cat dealers.
10. Programs for new dealer set up and activation. Make sure new dealers are well indoctrinated.
11. Motivate and lead entire sales team. Create an atmosphere of professional fun. Build a team that is viewed as valued business partners to the dealers. Create a team that can outsell the competition and increase our market share.
12. Evaluate, recommend and execute dealer training.
13. Travel with all District Sales Manager.

DESIGN ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

SUMMARY: This individual will design Snowmobile products and components utilizing Unigraphics NX5 CAD systems to develop accurate and concise layouts and detail drawings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Design product layouts, components and detail drawings for the Snowmobile product line through coordination with Product Team Manager and design team.
2. Efficiently and timely complete all drawings, calculations and cost objectives according to development schedules.
3. Research and recommend material and manufacturing options for the design.

5. Schedule design reviews on projects when applicable.

FIELD ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

SUMMARY: The Field Engineer develops and provides input in the design of engine system components. System components include engine performance, electronic fuel injection mapping, intake and exhaust. Development tools include engine dynamometer, field testing and data logging. Candidate is responsible for keeping on schedule and monitoring design of system components from concept through production.

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

1. Help ensure that the Electronic System on every Arctic Cat ATV is the best in its market and industry.
2. Design and/or specification responsibility for the following components and systems:
(a) Electric start systems
(b) Mechanical actuation systems

(d) Sensors

NVH PROJECT ENGINEER - VIRTUAL SIMULATION

Responsibilities:


SUMMARY: This position is a technical role responsible for utilizing virtual testing and analysis to effectively provide Noise, Vibration and Harshness solutions for Arctic Cat, Inc. engineered products. Provides technical recommendations during design, development, implementation and analysis of products throughout product life cycles. Provides CAD design support during design, development, implementation and analysis of products throughout product life cycles. Establish correlation between virtual testing, field testing and laboratory testing. Correlate analytical predictions with laboratory testing. Provides support to air intake systems, exhaust systems and engine mount design/development activities. Interact with engine supplier and engine group to establish engine NVH targets. Provide objective data for engine related NVH improvements.

1. Strong knowledge of IC engines, Noise and Vibration testing and problem solving
Including experience with design modifications for improved NVH.

3. Ability to work from a SDS to develop new product and produce a viable solution in terms of performance and cost, with limited guidance.
4. Demonstrated knowledge of high performance 2-stroke and 4-stroke engine fundamentals.
5. Knowledge of dominant acoustic and vibration sources, paths, receivers and countermeasures. Knowledge of sound quality principles and subjective perceptions.
6. Ability to analyzes and predict component acoustic orifice and shell noise, engine efficiency, emissions, and performance.
7. Posses in depth knowledge of prototyping techniques and pre-production part creation techniques to be used for product development and testing.
8. Manufacturing knowledge of stampings, extrusions, rubber, castings, plastics, and NVH materials.
9. Ability to ride and subjectively evaluate product in terms of noise, performance, and vibration.

FUEL SYSTEMS ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

SUMMARY: Overall responsibility to assure that fuel systems are developed on schedule, tested,
meet cost targets and pass emission specifications for all ATV/Prowler models.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Develop and test carburetion systems for all ATV/Prowler products.
2. Develop and test EFI systems for all ATV/Prowler products.

EMISSIONS MANAGER

Responsibilities:

Summary:
The Emissions Manager supervises a team to certify that engine exhaust emissions and fuel system permeations meet US and other world-wide governing authorities regulations.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

1. Emission regulatory duties:
a. Work with US and other world-wide governmental regulatory agencies with reference to emission-related rule-making and developments. Provide summary of meetings to engineering teams.
b. Work with engineering teams to ensure that current, as well as future, engines and fuel systems meet emission regulations and customer expectations.
c. Work with engineering teams during the engine design and development phases to ensure compliance with US and world-wide emission and performance targets.
2. Emission facility duties
a. Specify, source, procure, and implement new and/or updated test cell equipment, supplies, software, and maintenance items.
b. Schedule emissions facility maintenance.
3. Emissions/Testing certification application duties
a. Direct and schedule emission test cell activities.
b. Through the use of field and emission bench test data, study and assist in the improvement of emissions durability, production line variations, and determine family emission limits (FELs) for engine systems.
c. Follow-through on engine design phases from development through production to ensure that engines meet family emission limits (FELs).
d. Timely emission test data and application for certification.
e. Communicate engine emission status on all projects with other departments and engine suppliers.
f. Develop and maintain records of all engine system testing scenarios.

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the development and management of sales activities for all Arctic Cat products outside North America. The primary responsibility is to increase international sales growth for snowmobiles, all-terrain vehicles, and associated parts, garments, and accessories.

1. Attain and exceed sales objectives by developing and executing plans necessary to grow Arctic Cat’s business outside of North America.

DISTRICT SALES MANAGER - CALIFORNIA AND ARIZONA

Responsibilities:

SUMMARY: Responsible for managing snowmobile and ATV dealer sales performance and market position within territory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Must have strong sales background and in-depth knowledge of snowmobile and ATV markets.

Responsibilities:

SUMMARY: Responsible for managing ATV dealer sales performance and market position within designated territory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Must have strong sales background and in depth knowledge of ATV market.
2. Must meet sales goals established by Regional Sales Manager. These include ATV, dealer recruitments, PG & A sales.
3. Expected to complete weekly itineraries and accomplish daily management activities necessary to complete company goals. Work weekends as appropriate.
4. Assist dealers in product move around as necessary.
5. Assist in all state and dealer promotions as appropriate and in all corporate promotions relating to sales territory.

SERVICE PARTS MANAGER

Responsibilities:

Summary: Responsible for overall management of the Service Parts business. Particular emphasis on Service Parts plan development and timely execution to achieve sales and profit targets annually. Service Parts represents about $70M dollars in annual sales to Arctic Cat and is one of our highest margin product families (42% gross profit). Responsibilities also include involvement in creation and implementation of a new POGA strategic plan to drive more aggressive growth in sales and profits for Service Parts. Manager will lead and coach supervisors to maximize sales volumes, market share, gross profits and margins. Works with Regional Sales Manager, Call Center, dealers and distributors to insure satisfactory performance of the department.

Coordinates with: All areas of POGA including Bucyrus Warehouse, other POGA Managers and Supervisors, Snowmobile and ATV/Prowler Product Managers, Marketing, Finance and SAP Business Analysts. Other departments as required.
